About this speaker

Sherry Beltramini Pincus’ passion for photography and backpacking has led to over 35 years of backcountry adventures with her camera. Places she has explored include the Canadian Rockies, the Pacific Northwest, the Grand Tetons, New Zealand, the French and Italian Alps, and Patagonia.

Sherry has shared her work through presentations at the B&H Event Space, Develop Photo Week at Soho Photo Gallery and Sierra Photo NYC. In 2019 Sherry teamed with National Parks at Night (NPAN) to offer a backpacking and night photography workshop in Olympic National Park. In 2021 she organized an add-on backcountry experience for NPAN at Mount Rainier. She is also a certified Wilderness First Responder and offers her own backpacking photography workshops.

Sherry’s mission is to help photographers develop wilderness skills with the hope that as more people come to know the magnificence of the backcountry, more people will seek to protect it.
