About this Talk
In the new digital age, content seems to be king. The creator economy is very real and here to stay in regard to promoting ourselves, our art and our overall brand. But what happens when creating content comes at the cost of public lands?
How do we still create and share our art, but lessen our impact as creators? As more vandalism, litter and strain hit our natural wonders, how do we as photographers be the solution and not part of the problem?
In this presentation, Phill Monson will discuss what it means to put nature first in our photography and content creation, going through the new Nature First principles that can immediately be applied to not only enhance our experience as photographers, but for public lands as well.
Using real-life examples, Phill’s presentation will be fun and upbeat—not intended “to lecture,” but to get everyone excited about how they can make positive changes in their content creation approach.
