About this Talk
When in the grand landscapes of national parks or other inspiring spaces, darkness calls forth a beauty and peacefulness that’s truly a wonder to behold … and to photograph! But even a dark sky has light, and in the wilderness that sky is always brighter than the landscape below. That’s when LED panels come out of the bag!
Fortunately for night photographers, the tools for lighting have vastly improved in just the last few short years. LED panels have enabled precise control over intensity and color, allowing photographers to masterfully sculpt light onto dark landscapes in ways that are measured, repeatable and unintrusive.
Moreover, the wireless capability of panel lights allows for adjusting intensity and color from behind the camera, thereby increasing both efficiency and safety, and modifiers such as diffusers and grids allow for even further refining the light.
In this presentation Michael Winfrey will discuss the ways that LED panels can help you illuminate your night scenes, the technology that’s available, how it works and what its benefits are.
